Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with humorous rap tracks that dealt with issues of sexual and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood following the release of an album of raps. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first music experience. She performed on the trumpet. Then, she started traditional and hip-hop training. At college, she was studying the field of women's studies and journalism. Then, she even had a short time studying Mandarin in Beijing. After graduating, she began to concentrate on music. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in 2012. It eventually made it on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. It also included other popular hits, including the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. She decided to pursue acting as a profession following the completion of her previous two endeavors, author and musician. Alongside early TV shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films like Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
